Old world craftsmanship / new world Design

Traditional Japanese woodworking and natural building, skillfully crafted using age-old techniques.

Muga is both a business and an artistic endeavor that operates out of the outdoor event space, Quadrant 25, in Union, Oregon in the eastern region of the state. Situated in the heart of the Eagle Cap wilderness within the Wallowa Mountains, owner and master carpenter, David Laws, has blended his love of the outdoors with his passion for timber framing and natural carpentry. An artist and a mentor, David is not only a creator, he is available for private projects, individual mentorship, and he offers internships for aspiring woodworkers like himself.
